Explore Our ServicesBorn in the Bay Area, forged in the studios of North Hollywood, and now operating across Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Miami — 17 Hertz has spent over a decade helping artists, producers, and creative entrepreneurs build careers that resonate. We don't just manage talent — we amplify it.
The name "17 Hertz" comes from a frequency at the threshold of human perception — you can't hear it, but you can feel it. It was also the codename for a classified project bringing together the world's best musicians and producers.
Founded by Jason Gluz in the Bay Area, 17 Hertz first made its mark as a recording studio. In 2012, Gluz acquired a legendary 10,000 sq. ft. facility in North Hollywood's NoHo Arts District — the former One on One Studios where Metallica recorded their 16x platinum self-titled album, and where artists like Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick had laid down tracks since the 1970s.
Today, 17 Hertz has evolved from a world-class studio into a full-spectrum creative management firm, helping artists, producers, and creative entrepreneurs across music, film, fashion, and digital media build lasting careers.

Grammy-winning producer. Rule breaker. The architect behind some of hip-hop's most explosive records. Ronny J is a 17 Hertz artist redefining what it means to produce.
Ronald Oneil Spence Jr., known as Ronny J (OMGRONNY), is a Grammy-winning producer and rapper from New Jersey who relocated to South Florida, where he quickly became one of hip-hop's most in-demand beat makers. His signature sound — raw, distorted, unapologetically loud — broke every rule in the production handbook and created a whole new lane.
His breakthrough came through collaborations with Denzel Curry, crafting the aggressive sound that defined tracks like "Threatz." From there, Ronny J's production credits exploded across the industry: Kanye West, Eminem, Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, Juice WRLD, Lil Pump, 6ix9ine, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Machine Gun Kelly.
In 2018, he released his debut project OMGRONNY via Atlantic Records and has since continued pushing boundaries as both a producer and solo artist. His philosophy is simple: "I don't follow rules, I make up my own."

Celebrity stylist, fashion designer, and cultural visionary — Ugo Mozie is redefining luxury fashion from its roots. A 17 Hertz client, Mozie's work sits at the intersection of art, heritage, and high fashion.
Nigerian-American designer Ugo Mozie has become one of the most sought-after creative minds in fashion. Starting his first fashion line at 18 and styling professionally by 16, Mozie has built a client roster that includes Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Travis Scott, Beyoncé, and J. Balvin.
In 2014, he was appointed U.S. PR Director to legendary designer Vivienne Westwood. His latest venture, Eleven Sixteen, launched with a showstopping custom look for Diana Ross at the 2025 Met Gala — an 18-foot train encrusted with 100,000 Swarovski crystals and platinum cowry shells.
Mozie also designed custom pieces for Blue Ivy on Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour, featuring Benin bronze heads and cowrie shell detailing. His work honors his Nigerian roots while pushing fashion into uncharted territory.

Jason Gluz is a music industry veteran, entrepreneur, and the driving force behind 17 Hertz. A musician-turned-engineer-turned-CEO, Gluz played guitar in several bands and toured extensively before transitioning into studio production and business management.
In 2012, at age 28, he negotiated the takeover of a foreclosed North Hollywood recording facility with zero money down and 90 days to make it operational — sleeping in the studio during renovations. He transformed it into one of LA's premier creative spaces, hosting sessions with platinum-selling artists and major labels including Universal Music Group, Def Jam, and Atlantic Records.
Today, Gluz leads 17 Hertz's evolution into artist management and creative consulting, bringing the same fearless, hands-on approach to helping a new generation of artists, influencers, and creative entrepreneurs build empires.
"Quality, meaning, purpose, passion and love — that's what we build on."
